Kaeso Beauty Eye Candy Review

Kaeso Beauty Eye Candy Eye Cream Review

Hi! If you don’t know me, I’m Wren Tailor and I am a hairdresser and makeup artist from London. Welcome to my new section of blog posts which is all about skin care. I’m reviewing any and every product individually that I have used before going in depth about my skin care routine(s). This way I will be able to describe my skin care routine and reference products that you can instantly research to see if they will be a good fit for you.

In this review, I’m talking about Kaeso beauty’s Eye Candy. Right off the bat, I’m just going to say this is my most favourite eye cream I have ever used. I’ve never used anything else that has even come close to this one. So let’s dive into the review before the introduction gets too long:

Product type:

Well, it’s an eye cream. It’s good for fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and overall hydration.

What does this product feel like:

Thick, and very hydrating in a light way. Doesn’t feel like my eyes feel heavy, just that they have a luxury feeling hydration layer on top that lasts all day. This product is not sticky or tacky, it’s great under makeup. Despite it being moisturising, the product doesn’t cause any issues with makeup as you can apply it more or less straight after depending on what makeup you’re using (cream, powder etc). This product does contain dimethicone which is really good under the eyes because it can help to protect the area and fill out those fine lines which is especially useful under makeup. Always leaves a smooth soft feeling to the skin.

Dry time:

The drying time is a little bit longer than some other products for Kaeso but it’s still not that long. I would say after 10 minutes at most is a good time to start applying makeup under the eyes (if you’re using cream makeup if you’re using powder just applying a translucent powder on top first to set it). But the eye cream will gradually absorb into the skin within an hour, after that you would still feel protected and hydrated the whole day.

What skin type is this for?

Once again with the occurring theme of Kaeso Beauty, it’s for all skin types. It’s good for sensitive skin, it works well with both younger and mature skin, I think it would work well with all types. The only one I’d say to be bit careful of is maybe acne prone skin, as long as you keep it around the eye area you should be fine, but don’t blend it does the rest of your face as you might rub the risk of blocking your pores.

Overall thoughts:

Well, I already said this is my favourite eye cream. I’ve been using this product for several months. In fact this is the first product I purchased from Kaeso beauty and that’s what got me hooked onto the brand. It’s very affordable, you need the smallest amount because anything larger than a tear drop is way too much, it lasts literally so long I would say at least 6 months if you use this twice a day every day (honestly could even be longer I just lose track of time). Also, like I said before, nothing else has even come close to this product. 100% worth buying.
